When did you last look at the Highway Code?
Here are some recent additions:
- all adults and children MUST wear a seatbelt in cars, vans and other goods vehicles if they are fitted
- if transporting children under 135cm in height or twelve years of age, then you MUST use the appropriate child restraints
- you MUST report to the DVLA any health conditions likely to affect your driving |  |
- You MUST be able to read a vehicle number plate in good daylight, from a distance of 20metres
- You MUST NOT use a hand-held mobile phone when driving or when supervising a learner driver, except to call 999 in a genuine emergency
- you MUST NOT drive under the influence of drugs or medicine
- after the age of 70, a 3 year licence is issued. This is subject to satisfactory completion of a medical questionnaire
