| Nuneaton Opportunities Centre is a thriving County Council community based vocational training centre. We opened in 2003 and have assisted 100’s of local people to gain qualifications directly related to employment. We have recently become accredited to deliver NOCN qualifications which we know will be beneficial to the most hardest to reach people in our communities. |  | |
| We are just entering into an exciting phase of our development and have partnered with Barratt Homes to deliver a comprehensive training programme in construction to 14-16 year olds from the west Nuneaton wards. Training takes place in an informal setting and can lead to formal qualifications such as the Level 1 Foundation Qualification in multi-skills for the Construction Industry. We also deliver landscape gardening, motor cycle mechanics amongst many others from our centre in Pool Road, Camp Hill, Nuneaton. Latest Training Opportunities CAMS Programme Aimed at 14 year olds we are able to offer a day release course over a 2 year period. The first year will be spent at the Centre learning the skills and gaining experience of carpentry, bricklaying, painting and decorating and plastering. Your second year will be spent on the build site of Barratt Homes on Camp Hill, gaining real life experience and honing your skills and making the contacts with other builders and trades people who might be able to secure your employment future. Our other courses will continue; Foundation Level 1 multi-skills, motorcycle engineering, digital photography and many more.
