Transport | |
Transport generates risks whether by land, sea or air, and can result from accidents or impacts from other events such as storms, strikes and terrorism. The transport infrastructure of Warwickshire serves the heart of the country featuring five motorways covering over 200km, and a key link in much of the countries rail network. In addition Warwickshire conveys increasing airtraffic across its skies from Birmingham and Coventry airport. This increasing infrastructure brings ever-increasing risks and the emergency planning unit works closely with their providers to ensure a co-ordinated response should assistance be required by emergency personnel and / or the council. | ![]() |
