What happens next:
- We have a duty to look into every case that is brought to our attention.
- We will make enquiries, and then make an initial assessment on what further action, if any, is necessary or appropriate.
If we receive information about a possible criminal offence against a child, we must inform the Police at the earliest opportunity.
