Warwickshire County Record Office
Tithe Apportionments Database

Introduction
This is a database of the information contained in the Warwickshire tithe apportionments, produced after the Tithe Commutation Act of 1836. Some parishes do not have an apportionment and some have more than one! The whole of our county is contained within the two modern diocese of Birmingham and Coventry and all the apportionments we have for these diocese now feature in this searchable database.

You can also search for tithe maps and apportionments by using Warwickshire's Past Unlocked. This will tell you the date of the map and apportionment and the scale of the map. You will also see 'altered' apportionments for parishes: these have not been included in the tithe apportionment database.

If you have any questions or comments about the database, please e-mail the record office.
