Opening Hours for Christmas
All libraries that are usually open, will close at 16.00 on the 24th and 31st of December.
All libraries will be closed on the 25th, 26th, 27th 28th and 29th of December.

Be Inspired Writing Competition
books, book tokens and £50 theatre voucher to be won
Send in your entry, maximum 500 words, inspired by one of four photos taken by young people in Warwickshire. Your writing can be about anything at all! The photos and entry forms are available in every Warwickshire library and here on this page.

- Your entry can be written or spoken to a tape or CD.

- in person at any of Warwickshire’s libraries (please allow three working days for the entry to reach Warwick by the closing date).
Entries must be legibly written, or clearly dictated to CD or cassette. Please ensure adequate postage is paid. (We regret that we cannot return entries).
There will be three age groups:
Entries must be accompanied by the official entry form.
Entries must be your unaided work and should not previously have been submitted to a similar competition or published. The judges’ decisions are binding and no correspondence will be entered into about any aspect of the competition. You must agree to your work or extracts from it being used in publications of Warwickshire County Council and the local press. Any such extracts will be attributed to you.
Please make sure your name and age are clearly written on each piece of paper or information you submit.
There will be a prize of a book token in each age group and an overall winner’s prize of a £50 theatre voucher.
