The villages of Alderminster, Bidford on Avon, Church Lawford, Claverdon, Corley, Cubbington, Dunnington, Fillongley, Furnace End, Gaydon, Gilson, Halford, Hatton Park, Hunningham, Lighthorne Heath, Little Alne, Long Itchington, Lower Shuckburgh, Napton on the Hill, Newbold on Stour, Pillerton Priors, Radford Semele, Rowington, Shrewley, Shustoke, Stoneleigh, Tredington, Ufton, Weston under Wetherely, Withybrook and Wootton Wawen have been completed so far.
All those villages treated have seen positive speed reductions, with some villages benefitting from up to a 10mph reduction in vehicle speeds. |
The review of 'A' class roads is complete and works on 'B' class roads are underway. Bulkington, Burton Green, Earslwood Common, Harborough Magna, Kineton, Mancetter, Princethorpe, Salford Priors and Stretton on Dunsmore are being reviewed over 2007/08.
Initial investigation into villages on ‘C’ class roads has also commenced and includes: Abbots Salford, Astley, Bascote, Barton, Beausale, Burton Green, Burton Hastings, Charlecote, Chesterton, Chesterton Green, Copston Magna, Darlingscott, Edgehill, Grandborough,
Honington, Hill, Hurley Common, Idlicote, Lapworth, Leamington, Hastings, Little Wolford, Lower & Middle Tysoe, Marston, Maxstoke, Old Milverton, Priors Hardwick, Sambourne, Salford Priors, Seckington, Shotteswell, Wasperton, Weston on Avon, Wimpstone, Wibtoft, Wolvey Heath, Wormleighton and Wolverton
