| The Local Transport Plan is a statutory document setting out the long term vision, objectives and strategy for transport in Warwickshire. The Plan covers all modes of transport – including walking, cycling, public transport, car based travel and freight – and the wider effects of transport on issues such as the economy, the environment and quality of life. | ||

| Local Transport Plan 3 (2011-2026) Warwickshire's third Local Transport Plan (LTP) came into effect on 1st April 2011 and covers the period 2011 to 2026. The main part of the document (Part A) includes six Area Strategies with details of how the LTP will be delivered in different geographical areas of the County. There are 25 mode and topic strategies within Part B of the document, which contain policies and actions for different transport modes or specific issues. Finally, the document includes an Implementation Plan (Part C) detailing how the strategy will be delivered over the first four years (2011-2015) of the Plan.
