Hockley Road is a rural road situated to the west of Warwick. The road consists of a series of bends and there is restricted visibility at certain points along the route.
The location in question consists of a sharp bend on the approach to Little Shrewley from a westerly direction. A number of personal injury collisions have occurred due to excessive speed and the sharpness of the bend, which have resulted in vehicles leaving the carriageway and entering adjacent fields. |
The bend was assessed in order to reduce collisions caused by loss of control and to address excessive speeds.
