New Members Continue To Join WSCB
Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board has continued to enlist more professionals in the fight against child abuse.



The Fifth Annual Conference of Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board will bring together representatives from Health, Education, Social Services, Police and Probation and Associate Members of WSCB.


Comments Chris Hallett, Chair of the Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board:

“The new Board is the local forum for making sure that agencies and professionals in Warwickshire work together to protect children. To make this even more effective we have invited a range of other organisations who provide services for children and families to join us as Associate Members.”

"At our Fifth Annual Conference, delegates will consider how the Board should develop its work to meet it's key strategic objectives of reviewing all child deaths and preventing unintentional injury in childhood

To ensure that Safeguarding Children is seen as Every-Body's Responsibility WSCB will continue to expand its Associate Membership Scheme, which has been commended by government inspectors, focusing on the independent sector, faith communities and other groups.
