Claremont Children's Centre
The Centre is for all parents and children under 5 in the Rugby Area.
We provide facilities for you including, courses for parents, play sessions, music sessions, soft play and arts and craft. There are lots of learning ideas for the under 5s groups as well as early learning opportunities in a pre-school setting with qualified staff.
Groups who use the centre include new parents with babies, fathers group, young parents group, Rugby Children's Contact Centre and Health Visitors.We manage or have been involved with health promotion, Active Fathers Network, Family Literacy project, Area Workers group, primary schools and nurseries.
We offer parents a safe, warm and comfortable place to meet others and give and receive support on bringing up young children. We can also arrange home visiting to the under 5s to help develop language skills where the family speaks English as a second language.
We work alongside Special Educational Needs Schools, the Psychology Department, Relate, Child Development Centre and the Linden Unit.
