£1m centre hopes to create 60 jobs in Leamington Spa
Work has begun on a £1m business centre in Leamington Spa which is set to create 60 jobs in the area. The Althorpe Innovation and Enterprise Centre (AIEC) will provide space for up to 40 businesses and is being built on a derelict brownfield site in Leamington Old Town, an area targeted for investment and community regeneration. The AIEC will become a business support hub for new and established companies in south Warwickshire, providing a range of support services. It is hoped the centre will help transform the industrial area from one of latent traditional industries into an entrepreneurial environment supporting innovative businesses.
