Warwickshire Safeguarding Adults Partnership & Board
The Warwickshire Safeguarding Adults Partnership is a multi-agency partnership comprising statutory, independent and charitable organisations which have a stakeholder interest in safeguarding adults.
The Vision of the Partnership and Board is to protect and promote individual human rights, the capacity for independence and improved well being so that vulnerable adults stay safe, are treated with dignity and respect, enjoy a sustained quality of life, and are at all times protected from abuse, neglect, discrimination, or poor treatment.
The Warwickshire Safeguarding Adults Board is comprised of lead officer representation from the following organisations:
- Warwickshire County Council (WCC) Adult Social Care
- WCC Trading Standards
- WCC Supporting People
- Warwickshire Primary Care Trust (PCT)
- Warwickshire Police
- George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust
- South Warwickshire General Hospitals NHS Trust
- University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust
- Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Partnership Trust
- Warwickshire Probation Area Service
- West Midlands Ambulance Service
- Age Concern Warwickshire
- Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) (West Midlands)
Membership of the Board also includes nominated representatives to offer expert advice in relation to legal, and equality and diversity issues.
