Care Homes for People with Disabilities
A social worker or occupational therapist will usually assess your needs. We will try to help you live at home as independently as possible through supported living services appropriate to your needs. If this cannot be achieved we will try to support you in a specialist-staffed setting.
Community Support for Independant Living Skills
Resouce Centres assist people with disabilities by promoting greater independence and participation in the community.
Short Breaks
Information about short stays in staffed settings, or other services, to provide a break for users and carers can be obtained from our Adult Services Teams.
Community Support
The Warwickshire County Council funded information service is provided by
The Rowan Organisation
which will be able to provide you with details of Leisure and Social Activities in your area, together with other relevant information.

Please find attached a summary of the strategic document, which has been produced by the Warwickshire County Council, Adult Health & Community Services, Strategic Commissioning Unit. The strategy is intended to shape priorities for spending on health and social care services in the future.
We would very much welcome your comments, which will influence the final version of the strategy. Contact details can be found at the end of the summary document. I am also attaching a reply sheet which you may like to use for your comments.
We are asking for responses by the 31 July
, but the sooner we receive comments the better.
