Return on Time to Avoid Charges
You can avoid unnecessary charges by returning your loan items on time. There are many ways to renew your on loan items and prevent items becoming overdue
Whenever possible, we try to collect all charges outstanding.
We will send you overdue notifications as a courtesy. If you receive a notification, you may not be able to use your library ticket. The following timeline explains how they are triggered.

Payment Plan
If you are unable to pay all the charges a Payment Plan can be set up to help. A Plan is a signed agreement between the Library Service and you informing you:
- why this method of payment is being used;
- how much should be paid;
- how regular the payment should be;
- of the consequences of not keeping payment up;
- that you can only borrow books when the outstanding amount is less than £10
- that you can only borrow DVDs etc. once the whole charge is cleared.
