Holiday Activity Play Programme
Positive about Young People defines commissioning as the strategic activity of assessing needs, resources and current services, and developing a strategy to make best use of available resources to meet identified needs. It is essential that the commissioning process be based on an assessment of local needs.
Partners are given the opportunity to express an interest in the commissioning programme or apply for funding through the bidding arrangements. In this way Positive about Young People are able to market the Holiday Activity Play Programme and attract interest for potential funding from a range of organisations ensuring the needs of young people remain at the forefront of their agendas.
