Hundreds of walkers turned out to enjoy a week of fun and exercise in Warwickshire's beautiful countryside and historic towns!
A great range of walks were on offer thanks to the local walking groups, tour guides and experts that contributed walks to the Festival programme. Despite a wet start to the week walkers made the most of this chance to get out and about and discover some of the County's most popular spots and hidden gems. Many also enjoyed learning more about Warwickshire's rich history, landscape and wildlife.

Walk Wonders for Macmillan.
A great success!
An excellent weekend of fun and fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support!
Over 140 people took part in this worthwhile event at the beautiful Elmhust Organic Farm, enjoying a stroll around the meadows. The fun also included a raffle and a barbeque and even a guess the weight of the pig competition!

Wheelchair Walk - Stratford-upon-Avon
The Stratford-upon-Avon group of the Ramblers Association offered wheelchair users a chance to take part in the Festival on an assisted walk along the River Avon into Stratford-upon-Avon. | |

Dowsing Round the Rollrights
Walkers were entertained with myths and legends on this popular walk to the Rollright Stones, an ancient stone circle on the southern edge of Warwickshire.
There was even a chance to learn about ley-lines and try your hand at dowsing! | |
A Coventry Way
A Coventry Way Association organised six circular walks for the Festival, each taking in part of A Coventry Way.
