There are over 4,000 voluntary and community organisations in Warwickshire. A list of organisations, with contact details, is maintained on this website. Voluntary and community organisations vary enormously in size and resources and in the range of things they do. Some organisations provide services to people who need help, advice or care. Others exist to enable people to take part in sporting or leisure activity or political, religious or social affiliation.

The County Council works closely with many voluntary and community organisations. Some of the ways in which we do this are by:
- Providing financial support to some key organisations, like Councils for Voluntary Service and Citizens' Advice Bureaux, that provide vital services within the community
- Contracting with some organisations that are able to provide services to people on behalf of the County Council
- Providing small grants to some organisations to enhance community activity or to help organisations develop their facilities
- "Warwickshire Communities" offers free web site hosting and free content creation software to non-profit making groups in Warwickshire
