The Bird in Hand is a charming village pub in Austrey in the far north of Warwickshire (CV9 3EG). Like many other Warwickshire pubs it sells excellent food coupled with fine local beer and is well worth a visit

Fine Food and Drink

Trying different foods and gourmet experiences is the spice of life, and where not better to start than at Warwickshire's award winning restaurants. All are renowned for the quality of their food as well as excelling in customer service.

Local beers and ales are also a must and worth tasting. Many of the breweries can be visited directly as they offer brewery tours, or you can visit any of the friendly local pubs that sell their brews.

Stately Homes and Gardens

There are many beautiful properties to visit in Warwickshire, some of which are owned and run by the National Trust. Many of these have beautiful gardens complete with long sweeping lawns and water features designed by Capability Brown, the famous landscape gardener. These include Warwick Castle, Charlecote Park, and Ragley Hall.

They are a delight to visit during the summer months and are very relaxing places to visit with the family.
