Bishops Cleeve in Austrey has become a brighter place during the day as well as at night. During January and February 2008 the old and tatty original columns have been replaced with smart Heritage Style street lights. The replacement lighting has made Bishops Cleeve a more attractive area aesthetically and at the same time improved the night time lighting.
The replacement of the lighting columns has cost £20,000 and has been funded by a budget held by Warwickshire County Council's North Warwickshire Area Committee and at the request of County Councillor Mick Stanley in consultation with Austrey Parish Council. |
