The Directorate was established in April 2006 as part of a new, more streamlined departmental structure aimed at encouraging new ways of working and a ‘one organisation’ approach.
The Performance and Development Directorate focuses on developing the potential of Council staff across all services, improving the way the Council delivers its services to its customers, communicating with residents, staff and other important groups of people, supporting partnerships and supporting councillors in their decisionmaking, scrutiny, partnership and community work. |  |
