Getting Involved in Training?
Peer Reviewing:
training to assess Supporting People services, this will include interviewing and talking with service users at services that are not your own, and looking around the services.
Mystery Shopping:
training to help service users to test services. Testing will include how welcoming the service is? Is the information they provide helpful? Is it easy to contact the organisation? Do they follow their referral processes? Do they follow their eligibility criteria?
Advocacy:
training to be able to formally speak on behalf of another person who is less able or confident to do so themself.
