Renewing Your Loans

Most items are loaned for twenty one days, after a which a fine is incurred for each day that the item is overdue. See the fines and charges page for more information.

Renew or return your items before the return or due date.
Books can be renewed up to three times, unless they have been requested by another borrower. You can renew overdue books but existing fines will still apply.
how to renew
In all cases you need your library card number:
- in person at any library - no need to bring the books with you, unless you have renewed them three times already;
- by phone - contact any library;
- log in to My Account
- via our automated 24/7 renewal line, available 24 hours a day - call 01926 499273.
- by email - contact any of the larger libraries, with the titles and library barcodes of the books you want to renew;
- by fax - contact any library with the titles and library barcodes of the books you want to renew.
