What Types of Supporting People Services are there?

In Warwickshire, the Supporting People programme pays for the delivery of over 194 Housing Related support services. These services are delivered by 50 organisations:

Accommodation-Based

The services below all provide accommodation whilst you receive support from them.

Short Term Services
  • Domestic Abuse Refuges
  • Homeless Hostels
  • Supported-Housing Projects

Long Term Services
  • Sheltered Housing Schemes
  • Community Alarms

Non-Accommodation Based

If you already have a home that suits your needs, but you need some Housing Related Support, non-accommodation based services may the option for you. These services provide support where you already live.
  • Floating Support Services: Staff would visit you in your home to support you. Therefore if you move, the support will also move and be provided to you in your new home.
