Ancient Climate Change
climate change
Over the last 600 million years, Warwickshire has endured climate change on huge scales. Humid equatorial swamps, arid desert plains, warm seas, and ice sheets have helped to shape the modern landscape.

The geological evidence for ancient climate change is preserved as rock and fossil specimens within Warwickshire Museum's geological displays and collections, and as geological sites throughout the county.
