Dear Sir,
I did not intend my letter to imply a sudden resignation of your agency, on the contrary I said I would continue to do every thing I could to prevent inconvenience, until you had appointed some one to take my place.
My feelings have been so much hurt by the way every thing is now done upon the Estate (to your disadvantage, that I am unable longer to be a party to it-
to bear it without informing you of it
With respect to Mr. Pridmore or any other person, I have not the least objection to your obtaining their opinions & Assistance, if you think it desirable, but under such circumstances, it is usual to let the agent be a party to it and not to act independently of him- I never heard from Mr. Kydd anything about his intention to close the saw shed. I have not the least objection to his doing so, if you wish it, but after 45 years experience in the business of the Estate I think some consideration was due to me. before I am superseded by comparative strangers
I will be at Arbury early on Thursday morning and shall be very happy to see you & give any further information in my power you may wish.
I am Dear Sir
Your ob. Servt.
