One of the leading amateur choirs in the Leamington area, Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir give regular concerts throughout the year and perform a wide and varied repertoire.
Overview:
The Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir was founded in 1939 and is one of the larger choirs in the area. The choir's repertoire covers a wide selection of choral works, ranging from the classical, baroque and romantic periods to music of the twentieth century.

Performances:
Recognised as a Choir of Distinction with its own recognisable style, a range of repertoire and a good social aspect; the choir usually performs four concerts a year at a variety of local venues. Moving beyond the local scene, in recent years the choir has also staged concerts in Tewkesbury Abbey, Southwell Minster, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and Gloucester Cathedral, and has been enthusiastically received in Bruges, Ghent, and Paris.

Appearing live on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire Radio
Singing Rachmaninov Vespers both in Leamington and Douai Abbey in Reading
Having the Carol 'Awake, Awake' written and dedicated to the choir by a previous conductor, Janet Lince.

Recently Dvorak’s Mass and Kodaly Misa Brevis with our new conductor Nigel Stark and Previously
Elgar 'Dream of Gerontius' with Warwickshire Symphony Orchestra,
Tippets A Child of our Time,
Mass at the Crib,
...as well as the major choral works and music by Beethoven, Durufle Vaughan Williams, Faure, Handel, Monteverdi,
Mozart, Orff, Rossini, Rutter, Vierne and Walton.
