Annual Monitoring Report
The purpose of sustainability appraisal (SA) is to promote sustainable development through the integration of social, environmental and economic considerations into the preparation of Development Plan Documents, such as those produced by Warwickshire as part of the Minerals Development Framework and Waste Development Framework.
There are several stages to the sustainability appraisal process:
Setting the context and objectives, establishing the baseline and deciding on the scope.
Further details of the Scoping Report consultation are available

.
Developing and refining options and assessing effects.
Producing the Sustainability Appraisal Report.
In some cases it may appropriate for significant effects of the development document to be appraised following the issues and options phase.
The SA report must be submitted, with the finalised Development Plan Document, to the secretary of state for independent examination.
The
Annual Monitoring Report
will include monitoring of unforeseen adverse effects and baseline data.
