Grants and Funding
Coalfields Regeneration Trust Funding

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) is an independent charity which receives funding from central government and elsewhere, awarding grants to community projects in coalfield areas to stimulate social and economic regeneration. It supports community facilities, debt services, business opportunities and lifelong learning.

The Trust welcomes applications from community and voluntary organisations, charities, local authorities, Parish, Town and Community Councils and similar bodies. The Trust's charity status means that they are unlikely to support established private businesses.

The (ex)Warwickshire Coalfield spanning much of North Warwickshire and Nuneaton and Bedworth is eligible on a ward-by-ward basis. Check the list to see if your project is in an eligible ward.

Grant Programmes

There are two main grant programmes running until March 2011:

The Main Grants Programme - for capital and revenue projects of between £10,000 and £200,000 for up to 3 years.
