The Stratford Greenway is part of the Sustrans National Cycle Network, forming a five mile section of the West Midlands Cycle Route, which links Oxford to Derby via Birmingham.
The Greenway is traffic free, but you will need to cross some minor roads along the way. Please remember that other cyclists, horseriders and walkers will be using the route and you should slow down as you approach them, and sound your bell if necessary.
Circular cycle routes can be taken from the Greenway. These include the Stratford - Ilmington route, through the pretty Cotswold countryside, and the Stratford - Redditch route which includes some canal towpaths.
Car parking is available at the Greenway, but please note there is a 2m height restriction at both Seven Meadows and Milcote car parks.

Please note that there are two kissing gates on the Greenway (near Seven Meadows and Milcote car parks) which must be passed through. These can be negotiated by inserting the front wheel into the specially created vertical gap between the hoops, allowing the gate to close behind the bike. Riders of longer bikes (e.g. tandems or trailer bikes), or wheelchair users, can purchase a key from Kingsbury Water Park (01827 872660) which will allow the gate to open fully.
