Initially it will be available to pupils in KS4 to compare providers and Post-16 courses available in their area. In the near future it will be available to all 14-19 learners. The site will provide impartial advice and guidance to all learners choosing Post-16 education. Each provider has populated a common format page for their instituion and a related page describing what courses they offer. Many schools and colleges also have further links to their own websites.
Very soon, schools and colleges will own their section of the prospectus and be responsible for its maintenance. In the future they may choose to allow their students to apply online for Post-16 courses.
