We are open Monday to Friday and run activities for children under four years of age and their parents.

There is a small charge for some sessions but tea and coffee facilities are available enabling parents to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Please contact the centre for up-to date course information.

Fun and friendly play session for Childminders and children in their care. Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Every 2nd Wednesday of the month. Lots of fun and play, healthy snack and drink.
Meet other families with twins and multiple births.

Stay and Play IDS
Every 4th Wednesday of the month. Stay and Play for families with children aged 0-5 years with special needs. Siblings welcome. Support is available from IDS and a Speech and Language Therapist.

Fit & Fabulous
1 hour exercise class followed by a healthy breakfast, weigh-in, healthy eating advice and blood pressure check.
£2.00 for exercise class, 50p for breakfast and £1 for creche.

Get ready for the weekend in a fun, friendly safe environment. Bring Dad, Grandma or Granddad to join in the fun!

Men Behaving Dadly
Abbey Children's Centre is supporting Men Behaving Dadly - Stay and Play for Dads with children 0-5yrs. Bacon batch for dads, toast and drink for children. £1 per adult, 50p per child (maximum of £2 per family)

Baby Clinic @ Tiny Treasures
The baby clinic runs alongside our friendly baby group. Come along and meet other parents with babies aged 0-12 months, chat with the Health Visitor and get your baby weighed.

6 week and 9 month checks with Health Visitor, 2 year checks with Nursery Nurse - both by appointment only

Incredible Years Parenting Programme
A free 11 week course aimed at giving parents/carers strategies to encourage their children's good behaviour. Free creche. Starts 6th January 2010
