Closure of sites during wintry conditions
Warwickshire County Council will work hard to maintain Household Waste Recycling Centre Operation throughout the prevalence of any wintry or icy conditions and sites' gritting will be planned & carried out in advance wherever possible.
However, where specific circumstances dictate, Site Managers or Supervisors may need to delay opening of facilities in order to protect the health and safety of site users and staff. Closure will be down to local judgement and will be very much a temporary last resort option.
Warwickshire County Council apologises in advance for any such necessary action - plus for any inconvenience caused - and thanks the public for their cooperation should the need arise.
