The CHOICES Network is a new project in Warwick District. It has been developed by Warwick District Community Learning Partnership, which is a sub group of the Local Strategic partnership.
The main aim of CHOICES is to make it easier for people to improve their skills in places they already go. It will do this by providing training for organisations in the district and supporting partnership work between them. The main focus of the network is to support people in improving their skills in English, maths and basic computing. |

 Organisations who join CHOICES have to meet certain criteria so that we can assure the quality of the network. We will help organisations to meet the criteria through training and support and by helping them to find appropriate partners if they need to. Since we launched to organisations in January this year, over 15 organisations have already joined – and more are signing up all the time!

Individual people can go to any organisation who belongs to CHOICES for information and advice about what they can do. They will be helped to find opportunities to improve their skills that are appropriate for them. They will also be able to join CHOICES themselves and get rewards, like free vouchers and day trips, for the things they achieve.

CHOICES is being launched to the public now! Some of the things that are happening as part of the launch are:
- TARGETS AT CHOICES – a family fun day at the Racing Club in Warwick on Monday 30th May 12pm – 4pm…try archery, air rifle shooting, gigantic fun games, free burgers and hotdogs…contact Jim Wright on 01926 493622 for more details (all children must be accompanied by an adult)
- Bouncy castles and face painting at Leamington Parents’ Centre during half term week - contact Manjit on 01926 422499 for more details
- Recording studio ‘taster’ sessions and African Cookery workshops at the African Caribbean Project in Leamington between 23rd May and 3rd June – contact Shaki on 01926 313200 for more details
