Small Business Loan Scheme
Warwickshire County Council work in partnership with The Coventry & Warwickshire Re-investment Trust.This Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) manages a loan fund available for a wide variety of applications and organizations throughout Coventry and Warwickshire.
Who can apply
Location
A Scheme for organisations who are based or operate mainly in Coventry & Warwickshire. The scheme is generally for businesses that have been unable to secure sufficient funds through other sources.
Type of Business
Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies, not for profit and other community based organisations
Types of Expenditure
The loan is generally given to purchase or support:
- Premises (lease/rent deposits, adaptations to buildings, services, repairs)
- Machinery & equipment (new & used)
- Working capital
- Bridging finance
- Other business proposals on merit
- can work with other financial institutions in 'packaging' a loan portfolio to suit your needs.

Terms and conditions are discussed at the initial application stage.
How to make an application
Initially we will need to discuss the individual merits of your business or organisations aims and objectives.
Make contact with Richard Sweeney or any member of the Business Support Team when an appointment at your premises or other suitable location can be made for discussion about the scheme, your ideas and the documentation needed to support an application.
