Steering Group

Leads from each of the Partnership projects are invited to sit on the Warwickshire Climate Change Partnership Steering Group and help to review progress of and direct the future work of the Partnership. The group meets quarterly, with members feeding back progress on their respective projects and coming up with ideas for other projects. The group is currently chaired by Dr Jacky Lawrence, Strategic Energy Manager at Warwickshire County Council, and operates according to specific terms of reference.

Projects are outlined in the Action Plan, which covers a range of projects in the five key areas: energy; transport; resource efficiency; adaptation; communications and education. It is very much a working document and is regularly updated with new projects and initiatives.

Partnership Review

It is nearly two years since the launch of the Climate Change Strategy and a good time to review the progress that the Partnership has made. You are therefore invited to give us your honest views on what, if anything, needs changing or adding to. Your feedback is invaluable and will help to shape the future direction of the group. Review documents include the cover letter, background, an evidence based scoring sheet and a partnership satisfaction questionnaire. Please send any completed questionnaires or any comments back to the Climate Change Team at climatechange@warwickshire.gov.uk by the end of June 2008. Many thanks for your time and support.
