Mobility Scooters

The Visitor Centres at Kingsbury Water Park , Ryton Pools Country Park and Pooley Country Park & Heritage Centre are accessible to less able visitors and to those with mobility problems.

Mobility scooters are available to loan (free of charge) at the Visitor Centres at Kingsbury, Ryton Pools and Pooley.

The scooters have sliding, rotating seats with adjustable armrests which make them easy to get on and off, and they are lightweight so they’re easy to handle. With a range of up to 20 miles, powered by on-board battery, they give plenty of scope for exploration of the Parks. There is a weight limit of 18 stones.
