  • Visitor Centre & Gift Shop


    The Visitor Centre is located next to the main car park and is open every day except Christmas Day as follows:

    April, May & Sept:
    every day: 11.00am - 4.00pm
    June, July & Aug:
    weekdays: 11.00am - 4.00pm
    weekends/BHols: 10.00am - 5.30pm
    October to March:
    weekdays: 11.00am - 2.30pm
    weekends &
    school hols: 11.00am - 3.30pm
    A selection of gifts, walking and cycling leaflets, books and toys can be found in the gift shop. Our helpful staff can also give you information about Ryton Pools and other country parks in Warwickshire.

    The Centre has disabled access, 2 mobility scooters are available on a free loan scheme. Please telephone 024 7630 5592 for more details.





    Non-slip matting has been installed around the Visitor Centre to prevent accidents in wet weather.

    Children’s Creepy Crawlie Club


    The Ryton Pools Rangers run an environmental activity group, once a month, for children aged 8-12. For further details, please contact the Rangers on 02476 305592.

    Adventure Play Areas


    There are two adventure play areas at Ryton Pools Country Park. The one by the Information Centre is suitable for 5-12 years old, and the other, situated by Ryton Pool, is suitable for older children.

    Miniature Railway


    Between Easter and the end of September, you can take a ride on the Miniature Railway on Sundays between 1 pm and 4 pm. The journey costs just £1 per passenger.
