| Waste Development Forum Warwickshire County Council has set up a Waste Development Forum to discuss issues related to waste planning issues in Warwickshire and guide the Waste Development Framework through the planning policy process. The forum aims to represent a variety of stakeholder interests. Emerging Spatial Options Meeting: 6th May 2011 A waste forum meeting was held to discuss the consultation paper which set out each of the five spatial options, together with their advantages and disadvantages. A copy of the minutes taken at this meeting have been attached below and also a copy of the presentation slides. |
Spatial Options Meeting: 13th December 2007 A further meeting of the Waste Development Forum was held at the Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve (PDF - 76 KB) to present a range of Spatial Options (PDF - 348 KB) that will enable Warwickshire to deliver its Core Strategy. In addition the Waste Development Forum's views will be sought on how best to define "Strategic Sites" and policy that will maximise the potential for waste facilities to use renewable energy.

Meeting 4: 7th June 2006 This meeting discussed the outcomes from the Issues and Options consultation and was used to inform the preparation of the Preferred Options and Proposals document.

Meeting 3: 5th April 2006 The third meeting of the Waste Development Forum was held on 5th April 2006 and discussed Issues 7 to 12 of the Waste Core Strategy Issues and Options paper. The forum was split into 3 groups for breakout sessions, with different groups focusing on different issues.

Meeting 2: 17th March 2006 The second meeting of the Waste Development Forum was held on 17th March 2006 and discussed Issues 1 to 6 of the Waste Core Strategy Issues and Options paper. The forum was split into 3 groups for breakout sessions, with different groups focusing on different issues.

Meeting 1: 15th February 2006 The first meeting on the Waste Development Forum was held on the 15th February at Manor Hall in Leamington. The forum where split into 3 groups for breakout sessions. The following questions were discussed 'What should the Waste Development Forum achieve?' and 'How can planning deliver sustainable waste development?'.
