Youth & Community Partnership Zone | ||
The Youth & Community Partnership Zone is a place where the County Music Service celebrates its work with a number of key partners both within and outside of the Local Authority. This is an area where we recognise music as a dynamic force to develop and improve social cohesion through participation. We have been involved in training for youth workers, running activities in youth centres, training for Youth Offending Teams, working with our youth involvement teams and running community groups such as choirs, bands and keyboard groups. Often in these situations it is the act of involvement, team working in a safe environment and experiencing new activities for the first time that is the key benefit rather than the focus on just the musical outcome. Some of our partners include: Warwickshire Youth Arts Network Arts in Warwickshire Education Adult & Community Learning - Family Learning Youth Offending Team Youth Service Sing Up Choir Schools Association Rotary Club of Rugby Sure Start Children's Centres Music to your Ears CMS can offer training for staff working in these areas or supply experienced workshop leaders to run activities.
