Change of bus pick-up and set-down point when The Parade, Leamington is closed. Effective from Sunday 5th November 2017.

Following concerns received over buses mixing with cars and pedestrians on Guy St, Leamington when the Parade is closed a decision has been made to move all buses to the bottom of Kenilworth Rd between Clarendon Ave and the pedestrian crossing.

Parking along the outbound (toward Kenilworth) section will be suspended to allow buses to pull in and make it easier and safer for passengers to board and alight. The natural pull-in opposite and adjacent to Grosvenor Court will be used for buses travelling in the opposite direction.

These areas will provide a better place for passengers to wait for services and pedestrian crossings on Clarendon Avenue and near the top of The Parade will provide easy and safe access to and from the main shopping areas.

This arrangement will be in place from this Sunday 5th November and for all future closures of The Parade. Buses will continue to use The Parade at all other times.

Further details on Sunday bus times and routes are available on our webpages.

Revised route for no 6 bus service from Stratford School for the duration of the closure of Banbury Rd, Stratford

The Banbury Rd in Stratford will be closed from the 12th to the 23rd of November for resurfacing works and as such it will affect the way the no 6, that serves Stratford School at 1525, will operate. As it's a commercial service we don't carry any records of who uses it hence advising the school and by sending this alert out.

In order to serve as much of the Banbury Rd area as it can, during the closure it'll operate from Stratford School down to Bridge Street, around the Gyratory, onto Bridgefoot, right into Shipston Road then left onto Trinity Way, left into Wordsworth Avenue, left into Rushbrook Road, right onto Hunts Road, right into Bridgetown Road, left into Shelley Road, right back onto Hunts Road, right onto Rushbrook Road, left onto Wordsworth Avenue, then right back onto Trinity Way, right at Shipston Road, over Bridgefoot onto Tiddington Road and then right onto Loxley Road before continuing its normal route.

This diversion will probably add about 10 mins or so to the journey time.

Any questions can be sent in the first instance to busservices@warwickshire.gov.uk.
